Nightfire interview at Adrenaline Vault 10/30/02
Adrenaline Vault has posted an interview with Landon Montgomery, director of the project, and Gearbox developer Randy Pitchford.
Here's a segment about the weapons of NightFire:
What type of weapons will players have at their disposal?
Montgomery: MANY. There are over 20 unique weapons Bond can use with his license to kill. They range from his trusty P99 (silencer optional) all the way up to the deployable Ronin briefcase turret that can either be activated as a stationary machinegun sentry or used as a devastating explosive device.

Demo delayed 10/24/02
FilePlanet Has changed the demo release date to 10/30 instead of today. However, Circuit City is reportedly offering it on disc with the purchase of one of the recently re-released Bond Special Edition DVDs.

Demo coming Thursday 10/22/02
FilePlanet has the demo release date listed as 10/24 (Thursday). It's likely that they will have it first before it starts popping up elsewhere, but expect to wait in line for a while. I'll try to get up a list of mirrors as soon as possible once the demo is released.

Gearbox has confirmed that the PC system requirements are as follows:
- CPU: Pentium III or AMD 500mhz
- MEMORY: 128MB RAM
- GRAPHICS CARD: 16 MB

Nightfire Center launched! 10/18/02
Welcome to Nightfire Center. This site is mostly concentrated on the PC version of the game, which has been developed by Gearbox software. The game is sent to ship for all platforms on 11/18/02, exactly a month away. A demo is expected to come later this month.
The site is still incomplete and needs a little work but should be finished soon. Check back soon for further updates!
